Jakarta & Manga
What Beng Rahadian draws and does:
our friends in Solo (Bengkel Qomik studio) launch for their first comics edition (Street Soccer, 72 pages Full Colour, published by self),
Im in Jakarta now, I just finished being a tutor at comics workshop in Indonesia University (3 days, 9-11th March), it's amazing to see their spirit for make a comics, but sadly when they start with manga style.
I said "come on, make your own style! be proud, express your self! and bla bla bla..."
They said, this is our style, we make a manga modification!
