Why is Samphos so happy? The (Re)génération Exhibition is on!
For many, it’s the first time they’ve seen the swank hardbound anthology, an effort of over 3 years for teacher, artist, comicist Séra.
How do you get one of the books? (Sorry, it’s not for sale.) [Re] GENERATIONS was rationed out to those who were versed in local arts: answer a quiz about Cambodian comics, in Khmer or French. Published courtesy Valease.
See it for yourself at Centre Culturel Français, July 24 to August 17.
A fun evening with a great group of people. Can we do it again? Soon?

“There was an article in the Seattle Times about an educational comic I drew about the 1918 flu pandemic, and how to prepare for a new flu pandemic. They reproduced a page from the comic, which I pencilled and Lin Lucas inked. The comic book is free from King County Public Health.

The comic book can be ordered (or read online) via this link…

Tongue is firmly in cheek of course (hope this comes across).
Is anyone ready to have the “I love James Kochalka but…” conversation with me? I’m too scared to say anything else for fear I’ll be shot down in flames.

Looks interesting, although I couldn’t seem to see a clear larger version of the comic. I’m also looking at making a comic using editable type, do you have any tips for formatting it, ie, programs used etc?
